Kaycee Valmonte is a freelance journalist based in Manila, Philippines.
Kaycee graduated with a degree in Advertising Management in 2019 from De La Salle University-Manila. She is currently pursuing graduate studies in Anthropology at the University of the Philippines - Diliman.
She has written for broadcast, print, and online news publications in the Philippines.
Kaycee wrote general news stories for the ABS-CBN News Channel and covered the record P234.48-billion capital raising at the PSE in 2021 for BusinessWorld.
She then wrote about geopolitics and issues related to overseas Filipino workers and migration for Philstar.com, and covered politics in the House of Representatives, public health, transportation, and business for Rappler.
